The study analyzed congestion, road traffic deaths, registered vehicles, and road quality across multiple nations, assigning each a normalized score out of 100. South Sudan ranked as the most stressful country for learner drivers, scoring 45.27, while Monaco emerged as the least stressful.
Top 5 Most Stressful Countries: South Sudan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Burundi, and the Central African Republic.

“Driving is more than a skill — it’s a symbol of national mobility and progress,” said Prof. Dr. Amarendra Bhushan Dhiraj, CEO and Editorial Director of CEOWORLD Magazine. “Countries that invest in safe, inclusive, and high-quality road systems empower both economic growth and human potential.”
The findings highlight a widening global divide: in some nations, learning to drive remains an act of resilience; in others, it’s a rite of comfort.
